yeah jack medium was good . but i feel more comfortable for some weird reason on firestorm. did you download the batt cab fix? it works great for me!!!

Yes, I followed ur link and got the bat fix. So far so good. This is the best Firestorm I have installed.

Its difficult to chose between this Firestorm and Jack Medium, they both very good. I will stay with Firestorm until there's a jacked up jack medium. :p
 
no sms issues now, remember most of that sms issue was on firestorm LEO which is still a beta build
 
ah and i had one other wee problem.... im a heavy email user, and everytime i try send/receive i kept getting a "cant connect, check connection" and the way i got around that was to go terminate the data connection and then it was fine, but to do that like 15 times a day was killing me....
so i downloaded a little app called ConnTweak. it terminates the data connection after your desired non activity period. WORKS A BOMB im so happy now
 
you could have just used advanced config which I think comes on th ROM.

I am trying a different route now..Just experimenting. Installed Jack Lite + Sbl mobile shell in place of Touch FLO. So far very fast and nice

did you purchase from MTN or Voda? is your phone Voda branded?
which means then..... are you looking for the R3 vodacom ZA rom
or if you bought from MTN your phone will then be looking for the R3 SE generic.

or... :) are you brave enough to flash an awesome custom ROM which we all use here?
 
I think its vodacom branded, the customization variant is VCOM_ZA. Can't use the custom ROMs as its a company phone.
 
ah true.... in that case i think you need to try find a pc that will allow the update manager to work and do the download from SE update service.

Thanks, this great app will compliment G-Profile which auto switches my profiles depending on Cell-ID, time schedules, Appointments etc.

I'm on Firestorm 3.0 :D
 
how is firestorm 3? im doing like tsponge now .... im still on FS2.9 but im running the new SPB mobile shell 3.0.1
im almost wondering what the hang ive been hanging around Touchflo for. SPB is so custimizable, where touch flo is not.

Firestorm 3 comes with some new menu features and buttons. The buttons look a little ugly but offer impressive functionality.

- So far, its fast and responsive as 2.9

- Battery life not as impressive 2.9. I have NEVER had such battery life as in 2.9.

- Sometimes I get a scroll-bar appearing in the dialer. Its a little nag I can deal with and there is a workaround this issue.

I don't think the improvements (new buttons and menus) will be everyone's taste but the ROM is stable, fast and a step in the right direction. Valkyrie is always full of surprises. I'm happy to stay with 3.0.

how do i load SPB in conjuction with valk 2.9 ,i was always a fan of SPB because of the customization
 
just install it.... that simple. and it then runs on top of the rom. and its fast

installed it but uninstalled it like 3mins later way to slow for me I'd rather stick with the uncustomizable touchflo :D

guys how does one get your homescreen wallpaper for all tabs on touchflo :o
