The Sony X1 Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

attention all Valkryie (and other ROM) users...... !!!!

i moved away very quickly from LEO on Valkryie (and other) because it was full of bugs, eg landscape sms etc. But i just want to say that the latest LEO 3.2.37 has changed my mind BIG TIME. there is now a little app fix included which "almost" entirely fixes landscape, called Rota's Rotate. well it fixes it good enough for sms which is brilliant for me.

and today now i see a new build 3.2.41 that im downloading and will install in the next few minutes. will let you know how it goes....
 
cancelling new install of 3.2.41 .... many bug reports of missing buttons after soft reset and new sms issues.
im staying on 3.2.376
 
ya the leo was cool, but the sms issues were just too much for me
so went to the non-leo version, quite happy and battery can stretch to 3 days (2,5 actually) lol
 
well as i said with latest leo im not having any sms landscape etc issues
 
the last time i was using leo it would freeze or just take extremely long to get into the sms menu
did that change now?
also coulnt get an internet connection...
 
internet working perfectly. i just had to create APN settings.

hasnt frozen on me once since i installed last week
 
jis im not too sure, havent even tried that, hehe i do know it successfully uploaded a pic to facebook for me tho
 
3.2.4.1 firestorm is WOW. ran 3.2.41 leo a bit but switched back to firestorm. its still so much better with landscape.
 
3.4 is out for leo, firestorm and xperio.

i have it installed on firestorm ... its good :) now i have the live weather animations on my Touchflo homescreen
 
ja well the world moves on, im already wondering if im going x2 or something else..... i must say this x1 journey since december last year has been pretty darn incredible. something that may help me make up my mind if im going wm or android or other next. is there even any custom android roms? or how does that work?

earlier in this thread someone posted on how to put tom tom on the x1... mine is working fine, so its not support issue, but anyone know about new SA Maps updates, and, looking or Mauritius maps.

firestorm v3.5.49 out :)

oh and Agent47 is staying with x1 now.... seems the people have been donating well :)
