The Starfield thread

And here I am, amazed at how many have finished the game! I'm only on level 24, continually running around in a distracted and unfocused manner

I'm not even at level 24 yet! And I've wasted so much time building outposts and such.

I am 67 and have only gotten up to where Sam wanna hitch a ride.

Waaaaay too busy with side stories and lore to get anywhere close on finding artifacts and temples let alone continuing with the main quest. Oh and I have scanned a crap ton of planets looking for that perfect spot to call home.

Also, in case you guys don't know. If you assign your secondary jump button to something else (I use Left Alt), then space bar will still jetpack you vertically as it does, but the Left Alt one will propel you forward, much faster way of traversing planets and such.
Thank you for this tip! Am getting sick of running around planets.

I tried one outpost and it's a dump site  Also got extremely irritated with object placement inside the outpost and the fact that I couldn't get anything to align or snap. Triggering my apparently underlying OCD!

WHY CAN'T WE HAVE ROVERS!
Flip this is frustrating. How was this not thought of when they designed the game.
I have wondered how much the developers actually played the game because surely they must get irritated with the stuff we are picking up? Or else they just ignored the QA/testing team

Bethesda, see this thing? We need it.

Pro tip, in settings you can turn down rotation sensitivity (it may be called something else) which will let you rotate objects far more slowly, allowing for that sweet, sweet symmetry when building an outpost.

exactly what I was thinking! Think maybe we have to assign a skill point to the jet pack?
There's a perk (soldier I think) which automatically gives you jetpack ability. If you don't have it, then put one point into jetpacks immediately. It's a game changer.

that's awesome, thanks! I was rotating objects and thinking it was very stupid that they never lined up with the damn walls at least.
