Personally Could care less about farming skills. In fact, I avoid the main quest line like the plague. More interested in exploring and doing sidequests.....
Will do the whole skill-up/main quest thing once I get bored or stop finding new things.
Thanks for this. I will watch that tonight. I think I have come to terms with grinding in one way or another.
I found that space battles give the most xp quicker, and planet/moon discovery and scanning.
I am now seeing how great putting points into astronomy and scanning is paying off. finally. The ability to scan planets/moons without having to visit them individually is NEXT level.
My main quest is on the Hya step (UNITY). Has been for a week now![]()
I am a bit bleak that I didn't dump points into the scanning stuff. What I also didn't realise is how close you have to get to some things to scan stuff. But the whole land on planet and run around for hours on end trying to scan stuff to 100% the planet is an absolute pain.
(Mantis) Razorleaf has shielded cargo.
Another thing I missed when that was my main ship. I discovered it so late after complaining to some friends that I kept on getting busted with contraband. You see what gets me is you go deep into a mission and along the way you are picking up all sorts of things. By the time you get out, the contraband is forgotten - until the cops remind you of it. On the flip side, it does save a loading screen or two because it's kind of like fast traveling to the planet if you get busted
h me till I flog it.
I use my companions as mobile cargo bays. Problem is they tend to disappear when I want to sell what they are carrying.
