So shooting anyone that are not attacking Syrian forces is allright?
No, just the combatants that have declared war against the Syrian forces.

Russia is supporting the fight against anti government forces , irrespective of who backs whom, if those rebels are opponents to the government then its legitimate targeting.

Thanks for the confirmation that Russia are a proxy for Syria just using ISIS as excuse from the start.

Russia has been open and upfront about them targeting all rebel and terror groups from the start, they've even repeated it multiple times, it is a conjured media concept that they ever claimed ISIS will be their only target.

Why did you need confirmation of something they have officially stated from the start?

The problem is that this group is currently only engaged against ISIS, they did however issue some anti Assad statements recently. Not sure that justifies a strike against them but Russia is sending a message. Oh and lol, of course Russia knows exactly who and where they are striking, the idea that they dont is nonsense.

Washington still refuses to provide Moscow with the coordinates of areas controlled by US-backed Syrian opposition, Russian Defense Ministry said, adding that Russian and US military have discussed the prevention of incidents during military operations.

The conference via videolink between Russian and US military officials took place on Saturday, Defense Ministry’s spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said in a statement.

According to him, earlier US side claimed that Russia targeted areas held by Syrian opposition on June 16 in southern Syria despite Washington’s earlier requests.

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that the object targeted by Russian military was located nearly 300 km from the territories claimed by US as areas controlled by the Syrian opposition which had joined the ceasefire.

The Russian Air Force “acted within agreed procedures, warning members of the US-led coalition beforehand about the chosen ground targets,” Konashenkov said.

The American side “hasn’t provided coordinates of the areas occupied by opposition groups under US control,” which did not allow Moscow to adjust the actions by the Russian Air Force.
Yeah, so obvious.

Just to reiterate: Russia has never claimed to exclusively target ISIS.

September 2015: https://www.rt.com/news/317073-lavrov-isis-wmd-components/
On Wednesday morning, the upper chamber of the Russian parliament unanimously gave formal consent to President Putin to use the country’s military in Syria to tackle Islamic State and other terror groups.
October 2015: https://www.rt.com/news/319881-lavrov-syria-terrorism-minsk/
“One cannot say that there are ‘good’ terrorist which are not to be touched,” the minister said.
November 2015: https://www.rt.com/news/322482-lavrov-us-isis-assad/
“We… are doing this (conducting air-strikes) in a step-by-step manner and don’t divide terrorists into those that could help us solve some tactical problems in the hope that they would be dealt with later, but hit everybody, who profess and preach the terrorist ideology,” Lavrov stressed.

Yup, absolutely correct. More importantly though, their number one political goal is to reinforce Assad, not fight ISIS.

That is fair enough, but the US's #1 goal is to remove Assad even if it means actively supporting ISIS, from that last link I posted:
The US and its allies are playing a dangerous game in Syria as they count on Islamic State to weaken President Bashar Assad, but at the same time don’t want the terror group to seize power in the country, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Despite announcing ambitious plans for its coalition against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), “the analysis of those [US-led] airstrikes during over a year lead to conclusion that they were hitting selectively, I would say, sparingly and on most occasions didn’t touch those IS units, which were capable of seriously challenging the Syrian army,” Lavrov told the Rossiya 1 channel.

Just LOL>

You can laugh all you want, the US made weapons that ISIS typically use and the fleet of Toyota's they cruise around in came from the US.

Those weapon drops continued and even increased even after it was known that they end up in ISIS hands.

Those are irrefutable facts, now ask yourself what possible motive could there have been other than supporting anyone who fights Assad, even ISIS?
