Some people in the general public trust MyBB and it's MyBB's responsibility to offer content with integrity, but MyBB Sold out long ago. Spineless
 
So Google doesn't inform you that the Openweb drivel is Partner Content, so most people would probably only read that part, maybe have some recollection of MyBroadBand.co.za and immediately think that its an okay ISP?

Where in fact I'd rather have dial-up 56k than even use a free Openrubbish account

I think you all need to get your heads out of your arses and smell the roses. This is a commercial operation and not a charity. I think anyone who would have achieved this level of success like MyBB would head in the same direction. We might not like it, but that is the reality.

Unless you all want to chip in and pay RPM and crew some fat salaries?
 
So if you're an average joe, and most average joe's think MyBB is the authority on all matters relating to ISPs and internet.
So average joe reads all the cark adverts here and then thinks OW is a winner of an ISP...
No wonder the Dr remains in business...

If I had to pay a monthly sub to have the privilege to post here, I would do so, on the proviso that all these charlatans get given the boot with immediate effect.

Then the average Joe is a bit deluded. Have you seen the Mybb homepage lately? It has more adverts than piratebay and xhamster combined. If that's not a clue, I don't know what whould be.

What I do have an issue with is the selectiveness of advertisers allowed, which is a concern. If you want to whore yourself out, at least be upfront about your conditions rather than rejecting johns willynilly. Speaking from experience, it is rather demeaning :P

OK I see your point. As a secondary issue I also feel that you are right about the selection criteria and the unfairness towards CW. But then again, wasn't it argued some years ago that rpm has his friends, and if you're not in those circles, sorry for you?

Oh well, guess my head is out my arse now. And you're furthermore right, this site has more ads than the average warez sites.
