No, Telkom is what it is because of the government. Put the blame where it belongs: Government. Government. Government.

There's a looong history to all this, from the old Department of Posts and Telecommunications to the monopoly Telkom Ltd.

If you want Telkom to change, change the government. Get government out of telecommunications.

Bit of a detour. Shouldnt have much practical impact tho, probably plenty of cheap capacity in India to cross-connect to London.
