*nod* *nod* I agree - it just seems some people don't quite get what I'm saying. (Tell me, do I have a bad means of expressing myself? I must, I'm sure of it.)

At the end of the day it's preference. I wouldn't trade up Shadow Hearts, Shadow of Memories, Final Fantasy or Suikoden on a PC, because they are, at heart, console games... But at the same time, if I have to choose between console and PC, I choose PC...

Some people like keyboard/mouse, others like controllers. *sigh* Being neutral in this nonsense sucks.

I LOVE MY PC!!!! But, as I said before in that other thread, I'm a gamer first, and a PC-aficionado second.

It's just that games on PCs are better. *runs* (That was a joke for those of you who can't understand humour either. HA-HA.)

I think that's where they coined the term from. It is a Microsoft product after all.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with Microsoft, but I am a Microsoft fanboi and am quite happy with XP/Vista. I will now go into hiding.

Then of course we got Supreme Commander... Build, upgrade, defend, rush, repeat. Turtle-shell tactic ftw. And all over in what? Four Missions? Glee.

I'll admit - I'm not a head-over-heels fan of strategy, but I'm dying for one, really fantastic strategy game to come along again. Something... Homeworldy... Star Crafty... I'm looking forward to Spore :p I like depth and choice in a strategy game.

Loved Homeworld... I lost my discs though - lent them out years ago, never got them back. And Cataclysm (I think that's what it was called) er... *cough* broke.

As I said, I'm not really much of a strategy fan, but I do like the more in-depth ones like Total War - although, that's TBS.

I'm an RPG fan, personally... Baldur's Gate, Planescape, Neverwinter, Oblivion, Gothic - that sort of thing. And I love JRPGs for my consoles... Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Suikoden, Okami, Shadow Hearts... And I'm looking forward to Mass Effect and Fable 2 - when they eventually come to PC.

Ah... or a beautiful 24" widescreen LCD monitor.

One thing, about all consoles so far - but especially so on the PlaySations - bl0x0rz. I like smooth textures. The 360 does a nice job of smoothing - anti-aliasing - in comparison... But eh... Bl0x0rz ftl.

I sometimes wish I had a 360, but as someone said earlier in this thread, all the good games that go to 360 go to PC - such as Jade Empire, Mass Effect and Fable.

One FPS game that I fell in love with was The Darkness - I really wish they ported it better to PS3, and especially that they ported it to PC. Fantastic story-line, depth and emotion. I would've preferred to play that on the 360 though regarding frame-rate. But one thing I found awesome in the PS3 version was that they had full-length shows and movies on the in-game TV sets. Cartoons, PopEye, music videos. Was a gimmick, of course, but it was a fantastic show of what you can do with Blu-Ray. Not a HUGE show, but a really kewl one nonetheless.

Found Homeword a little too hard for my liking :) Remember Ground Contol, that was a fun game! I think the Big buget titles get cross playformed like Prince of persia, I will die the day I hear that it's a Console exclusice :eek:

i disagree with all of you.

the best thing one can do is get a kick ass PC and a console (xbox360).

I play FPS on PC (the only way) and I play Race games and exclusives on xBox 360.

and FYI the PS3 is not a console - just an over priced Blue Ray Player and Nintendo is for 6 years olds.
