2000 is an unconfirmed stat. The official count is 68... but obviously it must be a lot higher.

Ah so she knew her actions were likely to get her killed.

That doesn't make her a martyr, it just makes her look dumb.

No she is standing up for what she believes in, should people all across the world just do nothing because they might die? No protesting, nothing?

That is dumb.

Odd gary when syrians were being killed nobody means unconfirmed and libya nobody mentioned unconfirmed, iraq nobody called it unconfirmed.

Hey that's fine if they want to die for whatever cause - but then they can't cry about being killed when it happens.

Again it's not very different to Marikana - if you attack the security forces then all bets are off and you can't call foul afterwards.

Yup but in syria, libya and iraq it was genocide. DS as usual.

Sky News says Cameraman shot dead in Egypt

British broadcaster Sky News said one of its cameramen was shot dead Wednesday while covering the violence in Egypt.

Sky said Mick Deane was part of its team of journalists covering the violent breakup of protest camps in the capital, Cairo. It said the rest of the crew is unhurt.

Sky's website said Deane had worked for the broadcaster for 15 years and had been based in Washington and Jerusalem. He was 61 and married with two sons.

Sky news chief John Ryley said Deane was "the very best of cameramen, a brilliant journalist and an inspiring mentor to many at Sky."

British Prime Minister David Cameron said he was "saddened to hear of the death" and said his thoughts were with Deane's family and colleagues.

Dozens of people have been killed across Egypt Wednesday in clashes between security forces and supporters of ousted president Mohammed Morsi.

Army did without a doubt. Reporters must leave or hide. It is easy to say the morsi okes killed those reporters but the morsi people want this broadcast so it would not make sense to kill the people

or maybe it was just a stray bullet?

or maybe it was just a stray bullet?

They can say anything happened to the reporters, the first thing you do when you crack down is remove the reporters. Easy to say opposition killed them or stray bullet hit them.

Just saw on aljazeera people telling them the troops killed the reporters, shot them outright, no fighting. Watch aljazeera if you can.

means

I didn't like Morsi but he was democratically elected and he is in prison now

And here was me thinking it was killa's meth lab bursting into flames from time to time, that kept distracting him & causing him to keep dashing back and forth without checking his grammar before posting :D
