It is a true Volkswagen. A wagen that the volk can buy. My biggest gripe with VW is their misleading name. Most of their cars are not affordable by the people, you get more affordable cars from the East.
The Up! for me is VW returning to what it's name implied - making cars for the people. It is unpretentious and I love it.

It's a smart choice in this price bracket, is it the best car? no, but, it will be reliable, light on fuel, is safe and well put together and in 3 years time you are guaranteed a better resale value than had you bought a Hyundai i10 for example...
