While I do like the up, that publication is very biased towards anything VAG.

It's a smart choice in this price bracket, is it the best car? no, but, it will be reliable, light on fuel, is safe and well put together and in 3 years time you are guaranteed a better resale value than had you bought a Hyundai i10 for example...

Its horrible, I drove it as a rental and could not wait to get rid of it. Worst car in that price bracket.

Bottom of the range is always going to be bottom of the range regardless of what bracket.

Do they come with an optional glass bumper at the back too? I feel the glass tailgate is not enough glass.

Seems you can't open the rear windows.

Yes diamond cut wheels. SA models don't have the glass bumper option as yet due to the pending SABS approval. The Euro markets have this option.

^^^ I can't see that interior aging very well TBH
