The Walking Dead [SPOILERS]

I don't like the governor as explained.
This character development of his and the eventual resurgence of his former tnuc self was too expected and overly rushed but understandably so.

3 series to build relationships that he has somehow built in 2 episodes.
I can actually see him killing the new lady in his life.

When I hate a show as much as you appear to hate TWD, I stop watching... :)

I don't hate it at all.
I hate the governor.
So by rights the show has done a good job of creating a personal reference point.

So, you don't like the Gov. You don't like Rick's emotional baggage. You think it is currently a snooze fest... but deep down you actually like it?

Okay, cool.

Is this not a thread for discussion on the show?
You don't have to like my opinion.
It is still mine though.

All of my points stand.
I enjoy a good zombie hunt whilst searching for supplies.
etc.

The characters flop around too much in this current series imo.

Isn't that what zombies do? :p

I'm enjoying it!! I like that the main focus has gone back to man vs zombie rather than man vs man! Obviously there's still inner conflicts but I love the anxiety the zombies perpetuate!

Must say, I'm not too thrilled with the governors re-emergence and not because I dislike him all that much but just because I don't find him all that convincing..

I think the story is great at the moment. Prison and Gov story lines obviously collides next episode. The 2 episode intro to Gov's current mindset and that of his followers was necessary... Not sure why anyone would see it as a "yawn fest".

Agreed, I'm quite liking the new characters. Digged that scene with the zombie at the bottom of the lake. Kind of reminded me of a remorseful dream a murderer would have, except this was real, and I doubt whether Brian/The Governer has any feelings of remorse.

Serious yawn fest at the moment.
I don't think focusing the story on the governor/brian was a good idea.
I hate everything about him.

After the latest episode (midseason finale): yawn fest not more. Shizzle went down!

With all these new characters being introduced I pretty much expect loads of the old characters to be killed off.

I've got 2 episodes to catch up but I don't feel the need to watch it. I'ts becoming a bore fest. Not enjoying it at all.

Damn!

Nope. Not a chance...
They never actually showed him die, we saw hershel lose his head so he is obviously dead but it is possible for them to bring the governor back. There is no actual proof that chick shot him, she might not have been able to do it.

Oh, so what would you say a katana through the chest does to a man? Is it just a flesh wound?

I am also very sure that he will not come walking back. His girlfriend put a shot through his head, as I presume, he did finish off his new kid in a similar fashion.

Nice strategy. Give viewers two of the most boring episodes ever and then .... BANG!

Hit them in the gut!!! :D
