I stopped reading the comic shortly after the prison.
Tempted to start again but it spoiled the show for me last time.

The comic was much much worse.

I'm also very tempted. Stopped during the prison arc. Busy reading something else, will read it again after I'm done with Locke & Key :D #noderail

lol, Michonne and her imprisonment/rape/torture in the town followed by her vengeance in the comic :sick: I think that would have had walking dead go dead in the water if they added it to the series.

I was like this a couple of weeks ago. The new season was about to start and I was stuck halfway through S04 and I found it quite meh.

But I pushed through and I'm glad I did. It picks up at the end of S04 and S05 is back with a bang.

I went up to about episode 105 but haven't read for a year or so. I preferred the comic to the TV show overall, but that story is so detached from the original that I am able to enjoy both. I think I'll need to catch up on the comics now actually, I'm back in love with it after the start of S05.

I can't even remember where I stopped. I will probably start somewhere in the prison and take it from there.

I'm thinking it's probably worth a read from the beginning actually. But yeah, so much has happened since the prison and the point they are at now (which is a hotch potch of different story arcs and new stuff) that I reckon the TV show is not even even half way though the comic storyline.

Fark, Rick even gets the leg over at one point
 
You kind of have to overlook certain scenes, because its the nature of the show to an extent. Some scenes will be horrible to watch, but cmon, the scene where Rick sees Judith made most people shed a tear. There are good, bad, sad and happy moments. Its a fantastic watch imo
