The Witcher 3 Official thread

Just played about an hour with the new patch and the horse movement feels greatly improved to me.

Screw the graduation ceremony! I have to find this white haired girl no matter what.

Yeah they seem to have done well with the patch, getting over 60 frames now everything maxed out.

Really enjoying this game now, I think I will move my score up to a 9/10 :D Haven't really done too many quests, mainly running and finding out what's at the question marks, I hardly use my horse, I should go and have him dismantled into glue and burgers, would probably be more handy. I am about to go into my first big town, pretty excited, I think my only complaint at the moment would be that all villages look similar, but that's a very minor issue. The fighting is like fruit ninja, but with people instead of fruit, great fun :p

When exploring a question mark that happens to be a level 13 monster guarding a treasure the horse is really great for getting your level 4 ass out of there.

I've had a slightly different experience with my horse, I keep dismounting and attempting to sprint towards enemies, only to mount back onto Roach again :(

I have to physically move away from the stupid horse to sprint

I think I know which question mark you're referring to, because it was immediate regret :p

It is bordered by other level 9 question marks that make you want to rage quit

Haha I must have a different 'Guarded Treasure' in mind, I've had no issues getting swarmed by level 9 Endrega Warriors but anything above 12 is a nope.jpg reaction

Nekkers + the target lock system makes me rage though

I might be missing something here but how do you know what ingredients are needed for potions and bombs etc? I need to make the swallow potion and am missing some ingredients but for the life of me can't work out what they are?

if you go into the alchemy menu go to the potion you want to craft and on the left hand side it will show you what ingredients you need for it. as to where to find them i used the wiki

I got bliksemed by a level 14 Waterhag, she licked me 3 times and I was dead, Also found some crazy dragon looking thing near a castle and proceeded to run away like the little girl I am.

Right, off to BTgames to go get the game during lunch. How big are the updates in total? Want to play tonight already :o
