Yeh, we've gone off topic but I use a Laptop as well and I'm a Mechanical Designer.
My laptop is a powerful HP Workstation laptop.

Can't imagine hunched over a 15" laptop with my fingers struggling over recessed chiclet keys.

Ever heard of a docking station? I am using two monitors, kb & mouse as a desktop pc would. :whistle:

Anyways, I am contemplating getting it for the pc or ps4 and not sure which one to go... question is do I want gorgeous gfx on a 24" or less gorgeous on a 46" sitting much more relaxed.... not convinced the gfx is going to be that obvious as I don't have something to compare it against.

I have read some of you mentioned if feels the game needs a controller, that leads me more the ps4 route...

After playing it this weekend this is just my take on it (bare in mind I never played any of the witcher's before)

I would say get it for the PS4. The controls on the PC are just soooo many and so confusing :o. Given it's an amazing game and looks great. Me getting to grips with the controls are an annoyance at the moment. I press shift to run then need to double press shift to run full speed. Having to run, duck use potions all at the same time can get very fun on a keyboard :p

Controller? use a controller on your pc.

You'll come across that quite a bit, quests and crafting designs much higher level than you.

You can always use a controller on pc. Personally I have no problem with the controls.

I know, was actually contemplating it over the weekend. But I'll slog it out. Will get the use of it still.

I honestly haven't had any issues with the controls, and I'm playing on hard.

Not really that many keys come to think of it, i've made mapping charts before but for this game I just don't see the need.
 
BT have The Witcher at R699 for PS4.

Anywhere cheaper than that ? Have not read prev pages.
