The Witcher (Netflix) - 2019/2020

Then you're not paying attention enough ;)

For example, in the scenes where Geralt is dealing with Renfri, they mention that Calanthe has just won her first battle.
Then in the scenes with Ciri they mention that she won her first battle years before...
 
Next season they won’t need to use time travel devices as were now caught up. They’ll still use them but it will be clearer.

I'm watching for entertainment, not practising my auditing skills :)

But on a serious note, I have a bad habit of not picking up characters/places/factions names in these shows. Or games. So I tend to miss things like this.

There was hardly enough time spent with each of the many characters thrown at you to remember them though.
I knew it was following different timelines, but it was only by episode 3 where it becomes really apparent that there are in fact 3 different timelines up to a certain point.

All the but,but,but excuses for this is also lame, because it is not the viewers job to make sense of the show presented. It should rather be presented in a way that makes sense.

They failed miserably at this and is my only complaint, really.

That and Triss. (I actually like the shows Fringilla)
 
As much as I am loving The Witcher, it does have some massive logical plot inconsistencies. And that's ignoring the hop-scotch timeline issues. But, still going to give it a thumbs up.
 
Watched the series, had no idea half the time where we are and what's what but that is a different issue and only yesterday someone went isn't superman yummy as the witcher and I was like what the ****, is it really him!!

Hahaha, same thing happened to my wife: I said Cavill was great as Superman, too, and she was like "what? It's the same guy?!"

Jaskier: Oh... G-G-Geralt...

Geralt: No worries. After I smashed the furnishing, Yen could stop me before I burned down the village.
