WRT the Witcher Games, as far as i recall...
Witcher 1 was some kingdom politics and lots of racism and anti-human vibes. Ciri was a young 8yr old child here, destiny might have been mentioned. Order of the Rose.
Witcher 2 was massive kingdom politics, assassinations and wars, with the bigger story of the Nilfgaard invasion, and them orchestrating the wars. The idea being as they invade, they get the northern kingdoms to fight each other and weaken them for the final invasion. Mage and sorceress interference and meddling also included for themselves and for 3rd parties, and Nilfgaard solution to them.
Witcher 3 including Nilfgaard exerting more indirect influence on the northern kingdoms, the fall of kingdoms and lawlessness and unrest that it brings, and the main story of Ciri and Destiny, and multiple parties hunting her. And 1st reall interactions -the horse

with Yennefer.
These games are based in books, so expect Season 2 of Witcher series to look into the politics and machinations of the sorceresses , assassins kingdom politics, and wars, and either Ciri training with Gerald or Ciri being chased and them on the run for much of the time.
