$1 = R7.66311 as of 9:08am

Tanking it today. Wonder why so bad to start with.
 
$8.00 ... here we come!

then the petrol price goes up, then transport goes cost go up, then food costs go up, then CPIX goes up, then interest rates go up, then exchange rate goes up... [start at beginning agan]

the day before they announced Zuma is going to be the next president, it was 6.68 to the $. Shocking (was 7.79 a short while ago)
 
R7,71 currently

Looks like I am going to take that contract job in Africa. It's the only way I am going to make ends meet ... =/

On the plus side, I get a salary increase almost daily! :)
 
More of the same rubbish about energy at the moment. Reduce demand, efficient power use and all that. Nothing about increasing supply.

Edit: Now he is talking about increasing supply and maintenance...

Bite your tongue. I need it to go to R7 again for 3-4 months, so I can get some money out of this, err - for lack of a better word - , country.
