So the problem isn't from me to ADSL - it's inside Teklom.

Latency

Hi, this has been going on since early April 2006
I find that from 09h00 to 19h00 the latency/pings are terrible.
Outside of these times they are back to normal
Are they oversubscribed? I only 5 other users on my segment (residential users)
Have they silently enabled shaping/port prioritisation during the days?
Weekends its OK..

Now i dont know, but when we sign up with telkom isnt there an agreement to provide a certian service, and if there not providing that service, arent they in breach of contract? I dont know, but it does seem like a plausable idea

tenderiser thats normal in the daytime IS gives higher priority to business clients and from 5pm in the week and the whole weekend residential users get more bandwidth

Slow slow slower!

I am finding my 512 runs at 54Kb/s weekends and after hours. Weekdays down to 27Kb/s. Telkom have spent a week with no success. It does seem to me that they have increased the contention ratios!!! Another great scam. Ironically they are pestering me to go to a 1Gb service. My answer was that I would better off with 384!
This is becoming ridiculous. Roll on the SNO

Agreed, only that I'm with Telkom ISP and its only been happening for the past few weeks, which means they quietly activated it...

Been having the same problem as you guys and I've posted my trace-routes on here as well, I can see the EXACT same problems you guys are seeing but last night my Pings went up and down like CRAZY on the SGS BF2 servers and this was after 21:00 in the evening. So either Telkom is REALLY stuffing up (haha...like that's something new) or there is an issue on the SGS servers. The problem is, not all users on the SGS servers noticed this and it was only a handful including myself. *sigh* I'm actually thinking about cancelling my ADSL account. If I can't even play online during the evenings there is NO reason for me to carry on using ADSL.

For some reason my IS is still not working like it should but my saix account is fine is it just me or is any1 else still having problems with IS as well ?

the i.s news server is also having bandwidth problems or is just me ?
