Needed to get some last minute fresh produce here in little old Ndlambe.

Although fresh isn't the word I'd use to describe the state of fruits and veggies here

Many things today.

I kindly ask people not to give me gifts, I don't give anyone anything so I hoped that would help carry the message across. I am very specific about that I want and need and often after buying something I will sell it shortly after as I change my mind. Getting flu like symptoms this time of the year. Not sure if it is because of a week old spider byte or exhaustion. Only having half a Corenza C tablet left. I bought two packs of the stuff in September and now this is all that's left when I need it. Being the designated driver waiting to go home and other just keep going, FFS I am tired and want to get some rest.

That's it for the moment. Not in the holiday spirit at all. Guess I'll build a bridge and get over it.

Neighbour down the road in Montagu is drilling a deep well. The contractor has been busy since October. A pile driver operates from 9.00 to 3.00pm Monday to Thursday. There is a thump every 80 seconds and the house shakes. There is also a huge pile of sand and debris which has spilled out into the street and cars need to mount the pavement to get past. Council asked him to clear it up but he ignored them and now has placed orange cones outside the heap of sand, since someone in a large lorry took out the fence on the opposite side of the road

You cannot see into the site to see what is transpiring, as driving piles is a strange way to drill a well

The hole is now 75m deep and the contractor has spent R60k so far

His permission to operate expires on 31st December so will see what transpires.

NOTHING can ever compare with noisy fsking neighbours

Currently ruining my LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

Dammit. Turns out to be tick fever. Antibiotics for me and no more cycling this holiday.

Can it get any kaker?

LOL, last two weekends I picked up quiet a few ticks in the long grass on the trails. Also had byte mark on my face that I thought was a spider byte but turns out it was a tick byte. Must have been while I was sleeping.

Saturday I actually felt a little bugger byting me and I stopped to take it off.

I was planning on riding down to the West Coast (170km) but my wife called my dr uncle and got a perscription. He was very specific that I must do no activity that puts stress on the heart. Adding that I may have already done that based on my recent activities. That'll teach me to share my Strava on Facebook...

I feel better today. But don't want to piss off any family members by riding too soon. Not sure what to do really.

Adblock and uBlock Plus - not for blocking ads etc, but for having a noticeable indicator in the top corner of my screen that keeps distracting me. I actually don't care how many things it blocks - or even what - only that it does its job successfully.

Right-click on the icon then click on "hide in Chrome menu"

It can get bad, rashes that feel like you're on fire, sever headaches, fever and just a general feeling of malaise. I got it about 4 years ago and originally they thought it was meningitis as you also become sensitive to light in some circumstances.
So take the meds, was the bite black?
