Nope, also I'll only get them if they are fresh and in a decent garage, BP especially.

The ones from the Engine in the middle of a deserted industrial estate are probably going to cause your arse to catastrophically explode at random.
The last bit if the garage pie legend :)

If I buy a pie, I buy from a reputable shop, and one where the pies sell like hot cakes.

If I come into a shop in the middle of nowhere and there's pies, I'll ignore them and get a packet of chips or something else that's guaranteed not to let the barking spider vomit incessantly.

Just had a chicken burger from burger perfect that was brilliant, asked for peri-peri, didn't specify hot or mild, but man it came nice and hot. I love my hot food and this was really good my lips are still tingly.

I have won 5 Burger King Soft Serve Ice-cream Vouchers from Vodacom, which 3 got expired a few days ago. So today wifey, kids and I went to burger king and bought some meals including the soft serve ice-cream which we still had to 2 vouchers left.

I gave the cashier the 1st voucher and then the system deducted all 4 ice-creams at once! I did not have to use the other voucher! Lekker ekke.

A few weeks ago I went to a mall and came back about 3hrs later. When i went to the parking machine to pay for parking, I wondered if I had locked my car, so I went to the car and pulled the door handle open to check and guess what.

The doors was unlocked! Nobody took anything that was in the car! But there was nothing of value, only the charger cable. I was happy and grateful that nothing got stolen.

Just got rid of a growth, like an oversized mole, that I had for years at the top of my leg. No doctors etc.

WARNING - growths can be dangerous.

There's an Afrikaans(?) method of tying them with cotton to stop the blood flow, tighter as you go if necessary. Mine lasted 2 weeks, used dental floss. Just a small scab left :- )

Last day of work for the year for me today. Then taking a well deserved break.

Loads of holiday activities planned with the family.
Looking forward to the feast of a Christmas lunch wife has planned.

Christmas morning with the family before entering the Kruger for the day. Not as many amazing sightings as yesterday, but we did see a few smaller mammals like Steenbok. Plenty of birdlife, which is always special. One Hyena that strolled onto the road, flop down for maybe 15 seconds and then meander off into the bush. We were the only recipients of this experience.

Sent two packages, one by PUDO to edge of nowhere. It got there in around 24 hours. Blown away by the speed of this particularly as this is in the middle of the EC and far from any major towns. The other by THE COURIER GUY to Howick. It got there overnight and in time for Christmas. Did not expect this. So happy with their service especially at this time of year.

Deliveries have been spectacular in the last few weeks , seems companies have perfected their online ordering systems and courier companies have come to the party.

Only hearing praise from everyone.

COVID caused a lot of them to really jack up their online shopping game. I wonder if the likes of Makro are improved any, I'd like to order but not sure if they've improved since that partnership.

Actually someone mentioned just yesterday that Makro has jacked up their online side and it's now like Takealot, if it's showing as in stock it gets delivered asap. I also previously experiences their online side to be painfully slow.

What partnership did they enter into?
