Things that please you...

Good to hear

Wish me luck, the dreaded assessor is coming to assess tomorrow

Expecting some lame excuses about being under/over insured, this and that should've been specified, already put me in a foul by hinting they won't pay for stolen phones because I should've blacklisted them with their IMEI/EMIE/MIEM whatever number.

Hahahaha! I did that!!! Have a reference number 'n all!!!! That makes me happy :)
For future reference (just because I know you gonna write this down :sneaky:) valid unique device identifiers are ICCID, IMEI, IMSI, eID, Chip ID and MAC Address. You get a MyBB mousepad for providing all six of them, and a case of Goût de Diamants for remembering them all by heart.

That's nice, but no sailors and lots of landlubbers on what must surely be the UK's finest summer day of the decade.

When I order something for the first time from Karibaa to test them despite their terrible reviews and it arrives within a couple of weeks. Very surprised. Won't make it a habit though. Next time it may take months or years like  Raru.

Got a new game I'm quite into. Always a good sign for a game if I play for 2 hours without noticing the time.

Weather still behaving, and the Forester being very gentle on the wallet given the fuel prices...
Hot dang! That is like 4.27 l//100km in normal speak. Last week I did a trip from Stellenbosch to Sutherland and back and managed 8.2l/100km on average. No A/C but the car was loaded and speed was brisk yet I tried to drive efficiently.

Phoned to order a pizza, upon collection they apologized as they left it in the wood oven for too long so it was slightly burnt and that they will make me another one.
I asked them to give me the the slightly burnt one for free which they agreed so ended up having 2 pizza that night.

You used American gallons not civilised ones. More like 5.1...but still amazing. Aircon was on.

Ah yes. That is why we have metric - only one of of it.

In my case the trip took us from 140m above sea level to 1400m (higher at some parts) and back, with plenty of undulations in the route as well. Average speed was 88km/h but there were spikes of 160km/h (circumstances permitting). Considering this is old GM tech with a turbo bolted on (A16LET engine) I am happy.

And those GM engines weren’t known for fuel economy in the first place, so that’s really good going

One thing not to forget when looking at British dashboards… when it comes to fuel a US gallon does not equal a UK gallon, imperial but full retard..
