Things that please you...

One thing not to forget when looking at British dashboards… when it comes to fuel a US gallon does not equal a UK gallon, imperial but full retard..

You mean US gallon vs Imperial gallon.

Once upon a time there were actually 3 gallons, wine, beer and corn and the USA as a colony used them all. Then they had an argument and became independent and so missed the change to Imperial in the early 1800's.

The beer gallon was declared to be the new single unit imperial gallon, the USA being their own newly independent country decided to be different and declared they were going to use the wine gallon instead. By the time it was discovered what confusion it caused it was a bit late and has never been resolved.

Best part is we don’t buy fuel in gallons, either, but in litres.

Now *that* is a brick

What is the battery life?
Have not tried it for long, it has a normal Duracell 9volt in it at the moment. Will see how it goes. Might get me a rechargeable 9volt since the charger that came with this 1610i is long gone. Call quality is not too bad and it has reception in parts of the house where modern phones tend to have nothing. SMS also works but the whole interface being calculator like is confusing.

Did a video on it before I started tinkering with it.

Say what, then why do brits still use miles and gallons on their vehicles, it’s baked into every Uk dashboard?
Gallons is ONLY used for consumption purposes... and as for miles, well, I imagine it would cause chaos and havoc and cost a fortune to replace all the road signs..
