Being assembled (cheque clears tomorrow then they need 2 days to assemble) and those 20"s are R1799 (der last time :p)

Well, the awesome kind of 22" are going to set you back closer to 3 grand so for R3600 you might be better sticking with the 2 x 20" :)
 
Not a bad rig, Mephisto dude, drop the 2x 200gb's and rather get an 80gb and 320+ drive, since you seem to like the 2x HDD method, use the 80GB for OS and the other for data.

why 2x 19" Get one 22/24" :D
 
All I'm hoping for at this moment in time is for the system to rock ...... dual monitors or not. And if I do go the 1 monitor and other stuff route .... I could always just hook up this current 17" as my second :o

Ya, that is also not a bad idea cos you are only going to use the one for OS and proggies anyway- doesn't need to be 200Gb unless you are gonna install a loooooooot of huuuuge proggies :)

Which I will be (Arcview and AutoCAD can be massive) ...... and a looooooooot of games too :D
 
I doubt those are more than a few GB's, I install my games to d:\games anyway :)

Or get a 160GB + 320.. the 160's are cheap ass now.

Indeed, the 160GB are usually not much more than the 80GB and the 320GB cannot be much more than the 200GB which is a strage size in any case.
 
Ag I just went with what they offered as part of the system and then saw the 200GB's on special for R399 and thought what the heck ........ I have 4 SATA's so I'll just add as I need. Out of curiosity ......... what is the big deal anyway? Is it something technical or what?
 
I have a 320GB hard drive, and I find you openly commenting that it's size is 'strange' rather offensive. :mad:

*Update* ........... it is on the way to me :D Only kark thing is obviously all the darn transferring/installing work to do tonight :o
