Well that would be better...certainly need to check that out man!
I would say go with Prophecy, or Pcint, or LandmarkPC - They all have received good reviews on here![]()
Look, I trust PC Zone (6pc's and no probs) and the big thing here is, as soon as I have the cash, it's 2 days to wait. And, I can't be getting no PC in pieces bruthat has disaster written all over it ....... (RAM is my best attempt and only after doing extensive research, lol). I will phone them and clarify the mobo thing asap .... coz that has me paranoid

I don't mean in pieces _ I got Prophecy to assemble mine for like R300 or so. No worries. Came ready to go - They do a 24hr burn-in test as well to make sure everything is kosher...
Can also check out www.computersonly.co.za - Good prices there too.
Now that makes them more attractive I must say ........ now if only they got back to a quote a bit quicker![]()
Balance is more important than anything else. With an unbalanced system it means you have paid for performance you can never get to appreciate and at the end a person with a cheaper but better balanced system will get better performance than you will...
945 chipset is slow, slower than 965/975/P35/X38/X48/P45 chipsets and by quiet a bit. A guy buying an E8200 with a P35 based board will get overall better performance than you will, because they have better memory efficiency, better bandwidth efficiency, better timings etc... Most importantly the board featuring the P35 will be of better quality, higher reliability etc...
Get a Gigabyte P35-DS3R/P or something along the lines. Yes it's more, but it will not only last you longer, have a better warranty, better performance but it also has better support. If you must sacrifice CPU to E8200 to get the board or something similar I would do it because you can then get the most out of your DDR2 800 as well as the CPU.
If you're into playing games then 8800GT on 22" is most certainly not going to do, but 9800GTX may be a stretch. Maybe 8800GTS would be better, if you're not going to game then a 9600 heck an 8600GT will do even.
It's first and foremost a work machine .... with some gaming chucked in. I want to get into mmo's and just make use of the net more. My current 7600GT has given me some decent gaming so a 8800GT should be fine for my needs .... if a game has too high a spec, I'll just get it for my 360And while I can appreciate all the rest you said ...... it doesn't really grab my goat like
Now if a few months down the line my cash flow increases and I want a purely gaming monster ....... I'll start looking at stuff like that while I piece it together.
I agree that an 8800GT will be enough for what ""uou"" want to do with it...
Are those, those aliens that come for your PC in the middle of the night![]()

The Uou have arrived on this planet.... run for yer lives
Note: now if that isn't major thread derailment, then I give up![]()
So if that mobo doesn't support the chip ..... wtf are they giving it to me if it's not gonna run?
As per the prophecy thing ...... last time I asked for a quote .... I waited 3 weeks for a reply/me can't wait that long. Geezuz what a stuff up this is turning into man

Arg sorry guysOne of my pet peeves is people not replying to requests for quotes or taking forever to do so, so I'm really sorry about this! We've made some changes to the way we handle quotes and other emailed requests, so from now on our response times should be much quicker! If you guys don't get a reply after a day or two, please call us - *occasionally* emails don't come through (even though we use gmail) or get filtered as spam.
Otherwise your system looks like it will rock![]()
