So i side loaded the DSTV now app however i cant get live TV to show full screen. The bar at the top is always showing and not sure how to get this away. Presume we need to wait for the app to be compatible with Android TV?

The trailers are not encrypted only the actual stream of series/movie. Got the same problem with my Mygica.
Use a wireless mouse and click on the bottom right corner of the screen. That will get you a full screen.
There's also the android tv remote app

which works like the android TV remote, not like a mouse. Problem is the DSTV now and Supersport app have been designed for touch screen devices, so you need a mouse to simulate a physical touch

I am interested as to why everyone wants the dstv app to work. You can't stream anything from dstv unless you have an active account. If you have an active account then you may as well use your decoder to view anything from dstv on the tv??

apparently only if you are an existing customer on certain packages.
i tried to get it on my uncapped lte yesterday, the menlyn store said its not possible.
But I dont always believe what they say....
