I got multiple options for HDR.. both 8bit and 10Bit

something like this YGCBR 220 10Bit , RBG 10bit.. will take a pic later tonight and add here

The remote with my LIT box seems to work ok. Just feels a bit flimsy and not sure if it will survive a drop to the floor...
Any other good Android TV remotes out there that you guys can recommend? Something that works well with Kodi and other media apps.

The Android TV app works very well as a remote, it also includes the voice search functionality. I always have my phone with me so I just use that instead of the remote.

The device sets up well and the interface runs fine at launch. Then issues start. Moving through the menus the system becomes laggy. When i got to TV settings, the app crashes and refuses to open again, have to reboot to resolve that. On my first attempts to resolve the TV app crash, the language on my device changes to Chinese/Korean after restarting the device. Had to switch of simple link on my TV to resolve. I assume the software has bugs and not hardware issue.. But my device didnt work well when HDR was enabled as the screen kept going of and coming on (blinking) as it was trying to render correctly when i was flipping through the menu. I think it kept switching HDR on and off. Still it lags in menus and settings but much better

When i switched on the device first time i had netflix preinstalled.. After i factory reset the device due to the language issue, netflix is gone.. tried installing via google playstore gets me error incompatible with my device.. Will have to sideload the app.

Installed file commander from playstore to load APK's. I downloaded and installed Aptoid app store apk. Updates appeared for 7 apps, Youtube, Android tv launcher and 5 google keyboard settings.. updated them all, restarted and the android launcher worked abit smoother.

I loaded Kodi from google playstore v17.4 but didnt test any streaming. i launched and the interface was buttery smooth (wonder why the tv os isnt that good). will test tonight

Loaded dstv now and it works. Albeit it doesnt want to up the bitrate to HD for sport channels. think its stuck on 360p. changed the quality to high in settings, made no difference.. will test again.. To go full screen, you have use the air mouse on the remote to click on the full screen button.

sideloaded speedtest and it doesnt work in landscape.. only portrait.. hard to move around with mouse as everything is inverted..

The wifi speed is not so great, connecting to 5Ghz AC.. my phone managed higher download speeds... but it might be driver issue..

Will update later as i test further.. but so far, rather wait for software to be fixed first then buy.. or buy get Xiaomi

Mine didn't have Netflix installed as default. I must still sideload it. Uhm.but must first get Netflix account before I can even do that! :p

Interface /UI seems smooth enough.

Kodi working very smoothly. For some reason however Kodi doesnt fit my 1080p screen with some of the sides cut off. Can I do adjustments anywhere? Does anyone know how I can add movies on an external USB stick to my Kodi library? It can play movies on the stick, but I cannot get it to find the USB at the add to library screen. :confused:

Ah. Thanks. Are you referring to the Android TV Remote Control app by Google Inc? I see it only get 3.2 stars though?
