thunderbird: lock icon and inbox not available

I am trying to help someone who uses Thunderbird 10 on Windows 7.

There is a lock icon on her account and her inbox is not available.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Try deleting "parent.lock" from "/users/(your computername)/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/profiles/"
