TI capping - changed in Dec?

Can anyone else also confirm that TI seems to have reduced their capping levels in December 2008.

AFAIK my Do3 account has been capped at 5.4GB for the past few months - in Dec I have been capped at 4.5GB :mad:
 
Nope my 1GB account got capped on 1.4GB like always!

I'm with you on this one. I got capped at 4.6Gb and last month they had mercy on me till I got to 6Gb. The bastards...:D
 
The shared cap (after your 3 gigs) is based on you exchanges traffic. So obviously more people are using the shared cap. Yes I noticed that mine is also lower...

December usage:
A friendly notification that according to our records your online usage as at [2008-12-10 23:59:59] reflected the following:

It looks like the collective threshold has been reduced for Dec

It has however been very consistent at 5.4GB for at least the last 3 months.
 
I would have thought that with some businesses closing down between the 25th and the 1st, there would be a greater threshold to go around. Guess not?

I see to be getting more in on TI this month.

SASA ADSL Usage reports 468MB left on a 3G account.

Telkom:

Percentage used - 47.07%
Status - Not Capped

Local Usage
Uploaded - 0Bytes or [0.00GB]

Combined Total - 0Bytes or [0.00GB]
Local Bandwidth Allocated - 30.00GB

For the past few days its pretty consistent - if I take the 2.5gb downloaded at 47% are they giving me 5GB this month?

Sigh,

just got capped at 4.5Gb on my 3Gb account where I've been hitting 5.5Gb per month every month since I started my Do3 account, I'm really dissapointed.

I use axxess local gigs only. I only pay 140 for the dsl.
 
I've also noticed that I've been capped earlier.

Look, you pay for 3GB, you supposed to get 3GB, just because you get more, you can't exactly 'hate' Telkom!

You getting 1.5GB more for free... stop being ungrateful!
 
Actually I can,

See, eveybody has a surfing habit and one gets used to knowing how much bandwith one has. Now you do what you normally do and BAM, capped, so now you're stuck for the rest of the month. Kapish?
