Ticketpro Dome in Northgate to close

The Ticketpro Dome in Northgate has been sold to new owners who do not operate in the event space.

RX Venue Management, who managed the Ticketpro Dome for 20 years, said it is a devasting blow for the exhibitions, events, and entertainment industry.

Sad. Attended a few Rage expos there.

Drove past the other day and actually wondered what was going to happen to it. Can't remember reading or seeing it hosting any events for a long while.

Hearing rumours that We Buy Cars bought the space.

I saw Live there when they first toured RSA and it was awesome!

Ticketpro Dome to close. Toyota threating to close their KZN manufacturing plants and move elsewhere. It seems like businesses are starting to retaliate against the public looting, and lack of any policing in the area and moving elsewhere.

I wonder if Clover is thinking twice now about moving to KZN as well.

Only way to see is how flooding the Durban property market will become, and if most good cizitens pack up and leave for Greener shores.

The Western Cape between Cape Town and Knysna is booming. I will be amazed if the Western Cape doesnt build more ports. Also Toyota could move up to near Saldanha. The big Saldanha steel factory can be great for Toyota. They can manufacture the metal than straight to the cars, saving them huge fees.

I'm more worried that if Toyota does decide to move, they leave the country for good, with the whole EWC still hanging in mid air, the Zuma saga not having even semblance of a definitive answer, factions and parts of the political spectrum still calling for a political solution, the better bet will be to just not bother with all this risk.
