Time for one of those threads.

why are people not using condoms, when they are sleeping with different people atleast 3 months apart.stop hiv condomise like the ad says,it also prevents unplanned pregnancies.

dont mean to be the whiteknight here

give her a chance to come clean. it must be hard for her if she really likes you since shes holding this deep dark secret.

you probably would have not even developed feelings for her if she told you from day 1 about her situation.

salut

you need to draw up some VERY tight boundaries mate.
next thing she's camping on your door.
you don't have to live with the consequences of the decisions she has made unless you expressly tell her so.
you need to be very clear about what "being her friend" means.
don't be ambiguous, there's a kid's future at stake.

Not to start a race topic but I used to think girls having sugar daddies only applied to the black population only, I'm black by the way ;). Well if this girl's intention was to trap the sugar daddy then she deserves everything she's gonna get. Why use an unborn child for your own selfish motive? I feel sorry for the unborn child though, hopefully the father will support it.......

Have you not seen the girls of the playboy mantion? Or those white girls with those old! husbands... ;)
Anyway just help her but keep a safe distance.

I must say I would drop her quick. Really does sound like she's looking for a daddy for her kid. Even if she's not, why would you want to get involved with a situation like this so early in a relationship?

Well I'm really not committing myself to anything. And to clear matters up, I've not had sex with her and obviously would use protection.

It's sad. She's cool, was cool. Not so much that she's knocked up, but that she wasn't honest about it.

Well judging by your attitude towards her pregnancy you can see why she was not honest :D. I can understand it mostly because she wasn't honest/open but the outcome it seems would not have been different, it changed everything when you found she was with child :D.

Go with your gut.

At least you did know about the pregnancy, would've been awkward later:

You: "hey babe, you should stop chowing all those chocolates! "
Her: "I'm not fat! I'm pregnant! "
You: " :O "

So had a bit of a conversation with her on mxit yesterday.
She comes around telling me that she has a secret to tell me - that she is indeed pregnant and sure of it cos her nipples are a bit "runny" :p
So anyway, she asks if I'm still interested in her.

Couldn't and can't really give an answer - we discuss what she's going to do:
Has she told the dad? Yes - he's not really interested.
Is she going to keep the kid or give it up for adoption? Based on her answers, she doesn't want to keep it.
Her status reads that she's in the mood for a beer and the last time she had one was with her boyfriend - alluding to me
She goes on about people asking her whom her boyfriend is and yada yada.

Anyway - she's afraid of the unknown, I was trying to be supportive. But still giving her a reality check on her situation.
She lives with her aunt - they now know, but her dad doesn't know yet.

I like the girl, but not sure what the motives are here - I'm likely being paranoid, but I feel I'm well within my right to.
I don't want or feel that I want to be a father to someone else's kid.
Especially since I don't really even know her that well to consider it - I'm feeling that I can't really get to know someone in this kind of situation.
We've not really spent that much time together for me to consider her as a serious relationship partner.

Now the added stress, responsibility of an unborn kid, that she's not sure about keeping or not.

Should I just give it a go with her and see how it plays out and find out more about her?
See what her true nature is and if she is someone I could genuinely care about?
I could always call it quits if I find or feel that it's not right for me.

Damn, this is harder when I'm sober :D

hmmm,

so now she admits to you & others but her own parents still don't know...

Does she think she can hide that babybump forever?

solution: marie stopes clinic.

Shake&Bake - I've read through your posts trying to get a feel for your situation and honestly think that you should not pursue this girl any further. It sounds like you are not emotionally ready for the responsibility of being a dad and as if the girl is too immature to be a mother. (I married at 26 - my wife has 2 kids from a previous marriage, so I might understand your situation a letter better than some random person on MyBB)

You ask whether you should just go with her and see how it plays out. Honestly I think you'll just be wasting time in which you could be meeting other people. Things are going to get a lot harder for this girl once she has the baby, especially if she is considering adoption. I feel for you to invest so much support and emotional energy into a cause you are still unsure whether you want to be part of, would be less than ideal. Rather break off the relationship before you get too involved, it might be hard now, but it will only get harder.
