Do you have an FNB Investment account with a balance of R2 500 or more

I know this has been discussed before here, but I can't seem to find the definitive answer, so sorry for the question again:

Does a "Share Saver Account" and "Share Builder" qualify for
"Do you have an FNB Investment account with a balance of R2 500 or more?"

Or what is the best investment account (earning wise) to invest your money into that will qualify for those points?

I read the other day a thread also on here ... ebucks is about how to make a bank more money, remember that. That is why I was trying to say in a few previous posts, avoid going into debt to make more money
It depends on how you did it. In my case, I actually got myself from level 3 to level 4 this month by following an earlier post to apply for an overdraft and use it for a day, as well as take out a R300 temp loan. Granted my spend this month was higher than usual due to a few once off expenses, I am still walking away R800 richer from ebucks this month. Next month I will be on level 5 :D

Share saver no. But Share Builder yes, but you need to have R15 000 in for at least 6 months before you will get points.

Rather open a flexi deposit and put R10 000 in, and you will earn points from month 1.

Mmm, well, a few guys replied to this. You can do level 5 with only having debt via a bond.

Remember this, ebucks is about making the bank rich. If you cant see that, you need glasses. It is a reward on how you bank. Now if you have lots of temp loans, lol ... you are making the bank rich at the end of the day vs how you get rewarded.

So, in my eyes, the more you get based on how much you give the bank (that excludes loans) ... Great ! That is how I see it

agree on the buffer comment, have 23K RL points, but decisions/actions over the next few months may impact quite heavily on that. Happy with eBucks, getting a consistent 18K per month. Numbers indicate that FNB are 'still' paying me to bank with them :)

Thanks. I wish they would make that clear somewhere. I've got a share saver but didn't get any points. Made me miss my level 5.

New to FNB and I thought I did, but how do you,

"Register for incontact, and sign up for marketing from FNB." to get those extra 500 points?

I'd also like to know...I can't find the option anywhere. I'm getting incontact email notifications, but not getting points.

On your account, on online banking go to Account Settings for your account
In there is an option for inContact notifications

Is it true that you earn ebucks if you have a certain amount of debit orders?

Not true. But having a certain number of debit orders does impact how much points you can accumulate and get you up a rewards level.

A few posts back somebody said that collecting your cards from a branch does not count as a branch transaction, but in my case it looks like it did count. Only went to go collect my gold cards last month i didn't get the
"Have you done all your transactions and statement requests in the last six months via FNB's electronic channels instead of using an FNB Branch?"
points. :(

Shouldn't be that way. Call eBucks and ask them which branch transaction has caused this, since a card collection is not a transaction...

Lol.. When I login it still says I'm on RL5 and qualify for 40% discount even though I've dipped into RL4 this month. Should go order some vouchers quickly :)
