Tips to Boost your eBucks

They do that for some reason, like making money off people who don't care much about ebucks. You should only care about the ebucks criteria. If you don't meet the minimum monthly deposits for that, you end up paying higher fees and get no ebucks.

Thanks... Glad I asked here first!

Windows version is done, should be in the app store tomorrow evening or so... just need to test it on some proper Windows phones tomorrow as development was done against emulators.

iOS is also done, and will upload it once I hear back from FNB/eBucks. They can be real nasty and report this for some usage infringement, which can get my dev accounts killed, and it's cheaper to get another MS and Google dev account than an Apple one.

Meh, hope they approve of it :)

Cash@Till at PnP

Hi,

Can someone just clarify this for me?

I can buy something and pay using my Gold CC, then I give the teller my Gold Cheque Card and draw money @ the till.

Then I will still receive the 4000 points for 100% spending on my Gold Credit Card and the 1500 points for using only Cash@Till?

Hope so. I always do that. Cant see why not

Hi Guys,

With regards to the new earn rules, if I buy prepaid airtime via the app from my cheque account would that count as a cheque account transaction ie. I won't get the 4000 points for 100% CC spending?

Spend = swipes essentially.
Airtime purchases do not count as spend for that purpose.

Has anyone tried a checkers voucher at House n Home? If i am correct they both belong to Shoprite group.

Hi guys,

Thanks for a great thread, I haven't nearly read through it all but I scanned most of it

Quick question:

I'm currently on RL5 on Private Clients account and really don't want to drop a level (or worse not qualify to earn ebucks at all!). I took a job at a different company and won't be getting a salary until the end of June again so there goes my "minimum deposit" to qualify for May.

I have a linked investment account from which I can transfer the needed amount into my cheque account but I'm not sure whether this will work? Not exactly keen on asking the private banker as I believe FNB will use any excuse not to pay ebucks so I don't want to alert her to this

You guys seem very knowledgeable on the whole ebucks thing so any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Just in case someone wonders about this. It worked, I transferred the needed amount to my wife's account and then transferred it back. Bob's your uncle.

So when can we expect to see what lever we're on?

I thought the 8th, but I'm still on lvl 1 (new to eBucks).

Just having a bright spark moment related to the latest Mybb article about FNB Connect.

The bank has promised its subscribers will get R15 back in free prepaid airtime for every R100 spent on FNB Connect prepaid airtime, or on their qualifying FNB Connect contract.

From 1 July 2015, FNB clients will also earn Ebucks on their contract or when they load airtime.

The amount of Ebucks earned will depend on the reward level a client is on, with the highest levels earning up to 40% back on a qualifying contract, or when they load FNB Connect prepaid airtime

Thus 15% on airtime,+ 40% on ebucks = 400 ebucks + R15 per R100 = R66.67 in 40% discounted vouchers plus R15 = R81.67

hmmmmmm could be very tempting - even if it is cell-c crappy network

That's a decent saving, but I'm one of those people who believe that a decent network is worth paying for. My phone is just too critical these days, and in an emergency I want to know that I'm not going to have issues. If they can bring MTN and Vodacom on board then I will definitely move over...

Looks like I've been screwed by not sticking between 10 and 90% of my credit limit. Is there a way that I can trace it to try and pinpoint why not?

PS. I want to see for myself and not take their word for it :)
