Ok nowhere in the list of what I can still do to earn more points does it say maintain a R75k balance :wtf: That's just insaneand its a yes on both questions... cash@tills and all purchases on CC.
Thanks for the answers... I'll maintain the 10k balance see what the next round holds.
Yeah basically they reward 2 types of customers.
1) those that makes debt, where they score interest
2) those that saves a lot with them, enough so that that money can be borrowed by those that make debt, and also creates income for the bank by having them get a cut from the interest
If you just bank with them, and they don't make money from you in interest, you don't get rewarded as much.
Or 3) those that can play the eBucks game correctly so that they don't necessarily make them any money but still get the rewardsYeah basically they reward 2 types of customers.

It's musical chairs nowadays remember ... keeps changing each month.Does anyone know if the 40% Cape Union Mart offer will be reinstated?
Missed it by one FREAKEN day! No longer on the website :/
Hi Guys,
In order to get tier points one way is "Use your FNB Platinum Cheque or Credit Card to shop online or swipe internationally (min R 1000)". So I wanted to know what does FNB regard as "online shopping"? Is paying bills through easy pay counted? Or paying bills online?
Or 3) those that can play the eBucks game correctly so that they don't necessarily make them any money but still get the rewards
Technically that means you do the generics that you can, but you still will fall in 1 or 2 some way or another.
Example, how many here do the will with fnb? thats a nice interest cut they will get when you go kaput.

Not to be confrontational, but if you don't do any of the savings-related stuff, and you can manage your payments on the CC well enough that you never pay interest (see my previous 100 posts asking how to never pay interest), then you can get to RL5 by only paying the bundle fees. Here's how i did it on Gold... (19000 RL points)Technically that means you do the generics that you can, but you still will fall in 1 or 2 some way or another.

Oh ... and i get the last 2000 RL points by default for an Islamic account, so i didn't actually take a loan. You can make up for those lost points if you just have your CC for longer than 6 months and don't exceed the limit. Not to be confrontational, but if you don't do any of the savings-related stuff, and you can manage your payments on the CC well enough that you never pay interest (see my previous 100 posts asking how to never pay interest), then you can get to RL5 by only paying the bundle fees. Incredible Connection vouchers now on 40% discount.
I am quite sure that FNB killed the ADSL benefit in the 2015 rules.I see that uncapped ADSL is also free on RL5
anyone can provide info on this part: Uncapped accounts are billed monthly in advance.
You will be billed on the 26th day of the month for the next months allocation.
So how does this work? Do they bill you and then refund you according to your RL ??
Oh, and well done! Me tooSweet - Finally made RL5 on Gold

I went to FNB connect and it still shows the discount available. Free up to 6MBI am quite sure that FNB killed the ADSL benefit in the 2015 rules.
Search back in the thread for ADSL... I remember it being discussed.
