I'll quote myself on this one :D ...

Also ...
If you earn R25k/month or more, you're in the top 1% of SA earners (...yes , 99th percentile!). I'd say then that most people reading this are at least in the top 10% (top ten percent). That makes us all "rich" (...relative to those around us).

That article ends off by trying to guilt trip us for earning well. To hell with that... :D

@Deano, it works on a calendar month, so 1st to the last day of month.

Not sure why you see from the 15th, unless '15 is for the year 2015.

So someone i know, the cashier at Checkers swiped her gold cheque card to pay for a R22 item when she was drawing cash@till.

Thats 4000 points lost, right? Therefore taking her down from level five to level three.

What a stuff up of note... Makes retaining level five on Gold a bit of a gamble wouldn't you guys say?

Rather use the ewallet. It works better than cash at till for me because when I just need cash I don't have to go into the shop, I can just go to the atm. You don't even need a card.

So u don't do any cash@till? I know with the previously rules you had to do it to earn the points?

They gonna blacklist you the way casinos blacklist professional gamblers. You won't be allowed to enter a bank in SA
:D
What would you spend 1 bar on? In a month? I assume you are on private wealth?
Majority Easypay accounts for multiple companies. Boss is on Rmb private.

On gold it is required to get the points. Higher cards, not.

How did u figure that out? On the calculator the wording is the same for gold and platinum?

Just checked. You're right. And from the wording, seems like cash@till isn't even necessary any more. Using your credit card only gets you the 4000 points.

For the "Log into the FNB app 4 times a month" points, can I just log on and off 4 times in a row or do I have to do some sort of transaction each time?

You were correct as well, based on the previous rules at least.
The wording on platinum stayed similar, and the wording on gold aligned to this in the new rules, old rules it was a must on gold but not on platinum.

OK. So just to confirm, if I don't do any ATM withdrawals and no cash@till withdrawals either, I'll still get the 4000 points?

I log in, and log out, repeat 4 times in a row, on one day of the month, and get the points.
