Wife and I had one rule.

If you see nappies on special. BUY!!!!

We learned from the first one that you can never have enough nappies. This time I think we are going to come close to enough.
 
Well I popped House & Home an email now asking about the Checkers vouchers, will let you all know what they say.
 
I asked the manager at my local Checkers yesterday what happens when you use the e-voucher and there's change. They don't give change but will load it onto a gift card.
 
Makro is pretty awesome.

They are ordering me the camera and lens combo. Price is on par with most other stores who stock it.

And confirmed that they will ship it to my closest branch to allow me to use the vouchers.

Yup, I think so. At a higher earn rate as well. Dunno what the earn rate limit is though....at today's exchange rate, you'll probably hit it after spending £10.

Mind you, they gonna kill you on the exchange rate!!

Isn't that similar to what they told our fellow forumite many pages back and then he got screwed?
 
Does anybody know if there is a limit on how many makro vouchers you can buy? I've got quite a few friends and family who have been transferring their eBucks to me to buy vouchers?
 
Fnbconnect uncapped account was very slow tonight. Had to switch to backup. Seems to have recovered somewhat though. Little irritating but still great value for (no) money.

In that case it wasn't clear how this worked and he left without the change on a gift card. What happened since btw?

IIRC it's not possible to get change. He was given the incorrect info as you were too.

It says so on the eBucks web site and I checked on the app too.

Use this gift card at any Checkers, Shoprite, Shoprite/Checkers Liquor or Usave store.

Please note:

  • These vouchers cannot be redeemed at MediRite Pharmacies, Money Markets, Computicket or Computicket-Travel outlets.
  • No change will be paid out if the value of the purchase for which the voucher is used is less than the value of the voucher.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or for other vouchers of any kind.
  • Should the Voucher be lost or stolen, neither Shoprite & Checkers nor its agents will be liable for any reimbursement of any nature.
  • Vouchers are valid for a 3 year period from date of purchase.
