Guys what a disappointment I wanted to buy a uhd tv and since eBucks decided to restrict voucher purchases I already converted all my eBucks to makro vouchers and now I see the same tv is on special at eBucks shop

Aren't the prices the same? So why is it a disappointment?
I would prefer Makro's guarantee and support to the Ebucks store

Bit far from you, but the Fairbridge mall one works just fine for me in Northern Subs.

Thanks, I'm working 7.5km away, north west from Tygervalley, just off Jip de Jager road. I'll try contacting Checkers themselves to ask where else I can go :)

The owner of the place I'm renting currently is a business owner, I'm not sure if he is able to process credit cards, but I was wondering, if I paid my rent through a swipe, does that qualify for ebucks?

Yes. At 1% or so.
Also, I'm pretty sure the Business owner will charge you a extra 2%-5% or so to cover his merchcant fee.

I rent a residential property out and the lease my tenant signs has a payment method included (EFT). If she suddenly asked to pay via credit card (if I had the means to accept CC), I would definitely recover the fees from her or insist on staying with EFT.

Well the last time I made use of the AA service, to get something done, the guy had a mobile payment gateway he connected to his cellphone for payment. I could use my pin credit card for payment. Was awesome!

Not sure why more and more service people allow such payment.

However as for rent...well if you were paying of a bond, it would be debit order or eft anyways. So dont see how you can really score ebucks there sadly.

My rental agency (Harcourts) accepts payment from checkers. I'm assuming I can pay with a CC then right?

Any real eBucks benefit to going with Wesbank over MFC for car finance? Besides the logging onto Wesbank online once a month for 1000 points?

You get another 1000 points each month once it matures to older than 12 months and keep account paid up. So can become 2000 points a month.

Other than that, not much benefit for ebucks.

Cool. Thanks

Hey guys, new to the thread. Quick question: do I still earn eBucks if I keep R15k in the Savings Pocket? It doesn't seem to be since the last change and I just wanted to double check.

Do you have the Bank your Change activated on the savings pocket?

Hi, The Checkers rule on Gold is "The amount on which you earn eBucks is limited to 20% of your total monthly qualifying FNB Gold Cheque and Credit Card spend"

Lets say I spend R1500 on checkers and R5000 on all my other stuff for the month. Is the Total monthly spend R6500? Or just the R5000?

*Edit

And lets say I spend R 10 000 online, is that also considered as Total Monthly spend which the 20% gets calculated from?

Checker: R1,500
Swipes: R5,000
Online: R10,000

Total: R16,500
20% of Total: R3,300

So all physical or online swipes, excl EFT and debit orders.

No, since I don't use the debit card for anything other than drawing Cash@Till. I use my credit card for swiping.
