As far as I know debit card fuel purchase also gets the 15 %, so why the effort?

I have been using my Credit Card for over a year to purchase fuel and I have not paid a cent interest. I only transfer money from my Cheque account to my Credit Card about twice a month. So no interest from day 1.

The Debit/Cheque Card also gets 15%. BUT when you swipe your Debit/Cheque card you lose the 4000 points because you have not used your Credit Card for 100% of your monthly spend. If you lose the 4000 points it can easily push you down a level then you will earn only 10% if you are on level 4.

Ah yes, forgot about the 100 % spend rule. I'll try transferring money into credit card from cheque and see how that goes.

Transfers do not count as spend.

Whoops I read the post completely wrong.

Exactly, make the spend on your CC and then transfer the spend amount from your cheque to your CC via the app before the day is up. Done.

I did this initially.

I've been doing this for almost a year now. I keep the money in the Pocket though with a minimal amount in the Cheque because hey, a tiny amount of interest on what's left in my Cheque account after the rest has been transferred to real savings is better than no interest.

How does one even see what exactly accrued interest? I got a rather high interest bill last month (R252) which has been R20 odd every month before that and never worried me.

As a general rule, anything that is considered "cash".

If my eg. Afrihost bill goes off my debit card does that go against my 100% spend on credit card rule? Also the same for cash at till will it count against that rule?

If it is a debit order it will not affect anything.

You do however get RL points for x amount of debit order on your account.

Look, that sounds kind of high, maybe it's for fees not an interest charge. To rack up R250 odd in interest charges you would have had to have done a transaction for 10 grand or so, something that would draw interest from day 1. Post a screenshot of your statement if you are still perplexed.

I logged a query with them.

There shouldn't be any fees as I'm on the bundled option and that R199 goes odd the cheque side.

Also settle in full at the end of every month.

Dischem is back on the discount page.

Why would anyone want to buy the character/figurine that killed a certain someone in episode 7? :(

No the debit order and cash@till won't affect the 100% spend rule.
