Do you know how soon will we be recieving info

Sadly I don't - but everything else will be in place for October, just don't know by when they will start letting it be known to the world out there.
 
I reckon we will get the updates at end of AUG14 and will have to scramble around the following month to modify 'behaviour' - fun times!

I decided to do the most simple thing... I called the ebucks contact centre. Here is the info I got:

1) Communication to customers will be rolled out on 01 September 2014

2) Changes will come in to effect on 01 October 2014, meaning first ebucks earned on new system will be in November for behaviour in October.

3) Like Idol and Sjm has said, it will be much more simpler and easier to get points.

4) Don't forsee any massive changes.

5) Confirmed that it will be a month to month sytem, and no more 12 month rolling system

How reliable the info is, I do not know, but the person I spoke to seemed to know his story.

Often the information is not related to them either.

Only thing I can confirm is that the 12 month rolling window will be replaced by month to month...

How long does it take for Kalahari to send through the eVouchers once ordered? Within 24 hours? I ordered earlier this evening so now I am waiting for the email to arrive...

It came through the next day......irritating.

Not like makro, I buy it in store and it comes to me within 20 mins. So I know exactly how much I need before getting the voucher

I got mine the same day. Ordered the morning, it arrived later during the day. Pretty sure it was a manual process, since they tried to phone me while I was in a meeting, but soon after that I received the emails.

They don't send them during weekends.
You should receive it by midday today.
Order on a weekday and you receive it within a few hours
 
Can you guys please confirm what are all or some of the transaction types that qualify for:
You have used your FNB Cheque Card to purchase goods Online

Does buying prepaid electricity or airtime via FNB online qualify?
 
Thinking of switching all my banking to FNB (credit, cheque, home loan). Is there a specific account I should go for to get maximum rewards, or is it mostly based on your monthly spend (which in turn translates into a reward level).

Platinum cheque account has the highest possible earn rate

i earn for stuff purchased online , and for electricity and airtime with online banking , with my plat card.

@archer for max rewards the private clients bundle gives the most , but very card to reach level 5 , unless you swipe for 50k or so a month :P

Platinum would be best bet as you can reach level 5 quite easy.

Thanks however I meant the behavioural points that you earn for shopping online. I think its any transaction where you use your cheque card and CVV number.

Agreed regarding the best account, I was on the Private cheque account, but could only manage reward level 3 every month, decided to downgrade rather back to Platinum.

Ah yeah. that could explain the missed call from an 011 number this morning around 9h50am.
 
I had an eBucks issue which was sorted out very efficiently - will be corrected on 08SEP14. The team lead did say that communications regarding the eBucks changes(effective 01OCT14) will start today in email batches...

Thats good news. Thanks for the update. Lets hope its true. If anyone receives their email, please be so kind to post info here.
 
I gather they release info in batches so that the call centre doesn't become swamped with queries? Any dealings I've ever had with the eBucks support guys has been slow as mud.
 
The rules for private clients changed this month as well - they removed stuff that was worth 5k points to me :( So I'm only level 4. Fekkers.
