If you have a petro card linked to your credit card, that definitely accrues interest from day 1.
If you pay with the credit card it is the usual 55 days as far as I know, but then you are not 100% guaranteed that it will go through as a fuel purchase, and stand a chance it goes through as a normal purchase, in which case you earn far less ebucks. While they do state that, I found that every swipe for fuel thus far has gone through as a fuel purchase.
Worst case scenario, you can prevent interest on the CC by just transferring money to it before you use it. Ie, use it as if the credit limit on it was set at R0.
I was also under the impression that the 20/30% limits is per card, so you need to keep all your swipes to 1 card. Don't see why you would want to split some off to your cheque card anyways. Just use the cheque card for cash@till withdraws, everything else swipe the cc.
Thanks for the update. But what you think about credit card 10-90% rules does it have to be separately on budget and straight facility.I reduced my budget limit to almost 100.The fact is I hate using budget facility. Please also what you think about Paypal tranaction for my news server will it get points for international transaction?
