I'm on RL5 on Gold, where I am entitled to discounted or free data and ADSL. I don't need this - been very happy with my Afrihost capped 10Mbps ADSL account. Anyone know if I can allow someone else to use this benefit? I assume that the ADSL account would need to use my landline number/street address - so no-one else could use it.

I gave my details to my boss when he ran out of data, and also have used it at my office without an issue. Only 1 connection at a time though I think

By the sounds of it ... the full FNB is changing ... I am current on platinum ... It sounds no more premier bankers at all. That is falling away.

How do FNB revitalize their ailing and failing premier division??
Introduce a black card with rubbery qualifying criteria and almost double the monthly banking fees and everyone flocks to it. Same ****e premier bankers, nicer fancy name and we have the new private premier division for the same group of consumers. I know for fact they are taking people at 400k pa, to their detriment in terms of rewards but the fact remains this is all about revenue.

Asked the to call me about it. If I'm not gonna lose anything staying on platinum then I'm staying. But the way I earn eBucks etc it is hardly worth it switching to PC for a extra R200pm. Stupid to pay R400pm for an account :/

Well, the new pricing guide is out. Big changes. And no more free banking if you don't have R50K in your bank.
Regarding the private banker, well ... my banker knows his stuff ... and I do believe him.
I am doing now my home work where and what to chose. Don't think I will upgrade to private clients, but then again, I lose my private banker ...

Nope, I don't think so. For more thank a decade I had a personal banker, and my cheque account is platinum.
Well, all I can say ... some big moves from FNB, and big decisions to be made by me how to be not worst off by the moves on their side.
Gonna miss the fee saver option. And having R50k in my cheque account is just dumb. I can afford it, but think R50k in my bond is more value thank R50k to save R300 a month

This. I've never had one guy that I phone and both my cheque and credit card is on platinum. I've always had access to that premier call centre thingy. As long as I don't lose that for the once or twice a year I use them I'm good.

Its big on the new fee structure (page 1), lol .... FEE SAVER = R50 000 minimum in your cheque account ...

Thank god I'm poor and don't have R50000 lying around just to save on banking fees so I will happily pay monthly fees and will have no worries
