eish, should still make RL5, though it does feel that the noose is being tightened :-(

It's true, kinda agree with him. The SLOW visits doesn't affect me, I rarely travel, but I do see going forward that the ebucks reward scheme is getting tightened more and more. Only time will tell whether it will worth it in years to come.

For now while it is worth it, I will play the game.

Yup, the program is still absolutely worth it for me but the bait and switch trend is there and not entirely ethical in my opinion.

On Private Wealth:
The following don't count at all:
Have an active secondary Credit Card on your FNB Private Wealth Credit Card account, and spend a minimum of R500 each month on the secondary card-1000 points
Have an active FNB Tablet, Smartphone or Laptop contract on your FNB Private Wealth account-1000 points
Have a scheduled monthly transfer into a Flexi Fixed or 32 Day Flexi Notice account of R5 000 or more per month-2000
Have banked with FNB or RMB Private Bank for 3 years or more-1000

Some good news from my Personal Banker:
In respect of your Smart Device – if this contract was taken up before 01 July 2015 you will receive 1000pts for this for the duration of the contract

Dammit i drop a level down with the new rules. Spend >R7500 went from 4000points to 2000points and cast@Till went from 4000 to 1500. I lose 4500points just on those two. Mission accomplished fnb

Starting to look at downgrading my account package. The value of all the add ons aren't as attractive as the cost of the fees. Just if I can earn the same in ebucks is debatable.

I'm actually looking to upgrade, as soon as I get a promotion later this year. I qualify for lvl 5 on both Gold and Platinum without additional effort (if I'm calculating correctly). The rebate on the overdraft and the additional ebucks will easily cover the R60 deficit.

I don't get this :

Have an Overdraft Facility of R5 000 or more and use between 10% and 100% of the facility

Is this ONCE in the month/billable period?
An average over the month?

I mean I can run at 10% to 100% for 1 week - then pay off. Or keep a credit until the last day of billing?

It's one overnight.

so I haven't heard back from eBucks, and according to their T&Cs this means they rejected my question I had about using their name in the app description.

Will have a think about renaming the app and rewording the contents this weekend , if anyone has any suggestions on what is legal or not you are welcome to PM me.
