If history holds true, it will probably disappear in a month or two. Then reappear a couple of months after that.

Does an inter-account transfer from say Simply-Save to your Cheque account count toward the minimum monthly deposit to qualify for eBucks?

e.g Private Clients: "Have a total monthly deposit of at least R32 500"

Assume a scenario where on a particular individual earns R30 000 (net), will a deposit for R2 500 from savings trigger the qualification?

I'm under correction but I think any incoming funds would count no matter the origin. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned here a few weeks ago that someone moved money from one account to another to get the deposit level up and it worked.

Thanks :)

I can confirm that salary + external deposit from another account (where I am not the account holder) does work. Was simply not sure from another personal FNB account.

My breakdown of how I received my points have been updated. And I lost points on my Gold account for "Choose to receive all your account statements via e-mail only", even though I only receive my statements via email and "Have a scheduled transfer/payment of at least R250 into an Investment Account and maintain a minimum monthly balance of R2 500 in the same account" even though I have a Share Saver account. So don't know if this will be fixed.

I'm on Gold.
I made RL4 without 100% CC spend (CC only arrived mid-month).
Scored >eB2600 which is more than double my average monthly eBucks.
Still means I haven't covered my monthly banking fees cos of the added R40 I need to play for the CC and the once-off R150 CC initiation fee (which FNB doesn't refund anymore if you spend a certain amount in the 1st month)
But, if things go according to plan, I should get RL5 next time round cos of 100% CC spend and that will double the eBucks I get cos almost all of it comes from petrol and Checkers

Cape Union Mart Discount Vouchers are back and Dischem gone...
Well I think Cape Union Mart has discount running in the stores already.

There are restrictions on Checkers and fuel spend in your total monthly spend...

Indeed, but I do remember doing a basic calc recently to confirm that the new cap won't impact me according to my typical spending patterns.
I'll double check anyway.
Thanks for the reminder.

I got 24,000 points for last month, my highest ever. No idea how, cos I was actually expecting to drop to RL4.

On closer inspection, it seems like online shopping using your cheque card doesn't count towards the 100% credit card thing. When they say 100% of your card spend must be from your credit card, I think it means swipes. Cos I definitely (accidentally) used my cheque card online...

Double checked:
On Gold, I can spend up to R3000 on Fuel and R7000 at Checkers before any cap. Typically I spend around R1500 on each. If I can maintain RL5 that gets me eB4500. Add a few hundred eBucks for online payment of utility bills and other swipes and I'm close to doubling my (recently doubled) current eBucks haul.

I'm gonna be getting more accustomed to makro's aisles :)

Just remember the 20% cap on both. That's the one that will potentially limit my earn.

I dropped from RL5 to RL4. (Gold) Got about R420 in ebucks. As always I am tempted to use it, but I will rather keep it for next month when I should be back on RL5 and will qualify for 40% Makro discount as opposed to only 30%. :)

I'm still on RL3 as I used my Cheque account BEFORE the month started, but the transactions only went through after the 1st :(

Also upgraded from Gold to Platinum this month so might not get to RL4 again :p

Will see!

Do you maintain a monthly balance of at least R10 000 or more in your FNB Platinum Cheque Account?
Does this mean a minimum balance or at least R10k deposited into your account monthly?

Is your Will drafted and in FNB's custody and ensure FNB is the executor?
Might do this to bump up my reward level but don't see much info about costs etc on their site.
Anything I should be considering before going ahead?
