Tips to Boost your eBucks

Hi all,

So, my SO tried to make a purchase on the CC. Turns out the cashier (a trainee) selected Budget instead of Straight. Since I have no Budget limit, I got a notification of insufficient funds.

Does anyone have experience with this? Will this affect my eBucks reward level? Worried that this may count as an exceeded limit...

Just a few questions :

Do you earn any ebucks when u purchase prepaid electricity via FNB and what percentage?

Have you noticed that you can now pay for the following by dialing *120*321# and selecting prepaid, prepaid being the key word(hopefully leading to ebucks) :

Dstv
Starsat
Telkom landline

Nope. It declined. But I got an inContact notification of insufficient available budget limit. This cashier tried FOUR times and insisted that it was on Straight...

Eventually we used another card which worked. We then used FNB card elsewhere as usual...

No, you'll pay with eBucks and no discount applies. To make use of the discount you have to buy Makro vouchers from the eBucks Shop and spend that in-store.

Here is Makro's answer regarding vouchers as online payment method:
"Good day, thank you for your inquiry. Makro is working on a solution that will accept the Makro Gift card online. We will have the functionality available in the near future."

I bought a R11k stove (online exclusive) in store with vouchers.
Just go and talk to one of the staff. They'll order it for you, fill in the paperwork, then you go to the till to pay with vouchers.
They will deliver as if you bought on line.

I earn from prepaid elec bought through FNB app. Not sure if it's exclusive to PW or not though

If it declined, then you should be fine...
 
I must say, ordering online with Makro is the best. So once they add allowing the use of vouchers, I will use that a lot more.
Ordered an item of R1249, and for some reason they gave R100 discount on it online. Then I send the SO to collect. Best ever way of ordering stuff online.

Do u mean order online, but go in and pay with gift card when collecting?
 
I just follow this thread, easier to see here when some1 says theirs are up, then I do the work of logging in to check.
