Made it with exactly 18000 points.

My extra 500 is missing for the scheduled payment into an investment account, something cocked up and I queried on the first already.

But finally on RL5 and the way I've got it down should stay there.

Mind posting the breakdown of what you've done to get there?

The big deal is putting R50k in a Flexi deposit account, but I'll send you the screenshot now.

As a "new" customer it's the only way. I don't get any of those 3 years or 6 months points yet.

****

Here you go. I see they've cocked up the investment account points as well.

Is it possible to setup auto payment to an investment account yourself? Of do I have to,call them to do it?

Well, I got my eBucks (lower than expected, but meh) and I'm still on lvl 3.

Damn iContact -.-

Well, I went up from lvl2 last month back to lvl 3.

Got screwed by WesBank for more because they wanted to charge me 20% to finance the wifes car.For a much better rate from Nedbank. Savings in interest will do in lieu of eBucks points.

Happy eBucks hunting everyone!

Ok ... Let me explain it again.

I contacted my banker and asked for a full profile showing all my accounts. Then, I can see on each account which is registered for incontact and which not. Then I logged into FNB banking, selected the account I wanted to verify, and did it.

After that process, I asked my banker to check all my accounts again.

The rule is, it isn't one setting for all your accounts. You must confirm incontact for EACH and EVERY account.

I read people say I never had to update any info. I thought that too. This year I opened 2 new accounts, and one was verified, the other one not. Don't ask me how.

Last month I saw which points I couldn't get, queried it, and make the correct changes.

That is the long and short story of the incontact requirement (And that is what I did to make sure I get the points this month)

Thanks, I confirmed all my accounts now via Online Banking.

Hope it's correct now!

Just make double sure from FNB's side they can see and confirm that all your accounts are verified.

It isn't just a normal setting / confirmation. Its a mission to find the correct confirmation page online. (Wish sometimes banks would make settings online easier to find.).

But once you get to the white rabbit, you are almost there

:wtf:

With regards to:

1. Have an Investment Account and maintain a monthly balance of R10 000 or more.

2. Have a scheduled transfer/payment of at least R500 into an Investment Account and maintain a minimum monthly balance of R5 000 in the same account.

I only opened that account and set the scheduled transfer in August. Does that mean it doesn't count yet and will only start counting towards my eBucks level from next month? Because currently they aren't included.

True, that account must be active from the first day of the month

Well that's disappointing. Oh well at least now I know why I didn't make level 5. Only 500 points away!

It is the same rule when you are on the fee saver option on your cheque account. If your account drips 1c lower to the minimum, they will charge you. Hold thumbs for Oct then :)
