Using the calculator on the ebucks site really is the easiest way to see what you have to change to increase points.

It shows you what you are currently doing and exactly what you should be doing to move up.

I was at Spar getting bread and milk etc on Sunday, and I went blank :-( couldn't for the life of me remember my pin for my CC. So, I used my Cheque card. Why the f didn't I just draw cash :-( hope I can still maintain RL5

i keep a revolving loan active for such emergencies. Eg - the Loan is active but not utilized. Once i encounter a situation where i know my points will suffer at the end of the month, i transfer the required 10% from the loan (about R1000). will be about R70 in fee's, but dropping a level will "cost" much more.

Does anybody if the above rule is based on swipes only?
I spend quite a huge amount on Easy pay monthly ( R3000 plus), and groceries swiping maybe 2.5k.

Its swipes only. Swiping your debit card will result in losing the 4000eB points (which is ALOT).

About to make my first discounted Makro purchase. How do I do this? Just log onto ebucks website and buy a virtual voucher?
