To XboX or Not to Xbox

I own a PS3, WII, and a PC. But, want to get an xbox aswell, Well, i've seen rumors on the net about the new xbox coming out in the next year or 2. Should i wait or what???

What rumours? I'm not aware of anything official or conclusive. If you want to get it go ahead and get it. I know a guy who told me 1-2 years ago he won't be buying the XBox 360 because he "heard" the successor to the XBox 360 is coming out "within the next year". I told him it's BS and like a hardass he maintained his position. 2 years later and still no official news of a successor. Idiot.

There will not be a successor soon, not next year anyway. Natal will launch this year and extend the life of the xbox for a few more years. There are rumours of a slim version coming out mayyyyybe, but even that no one is sure of. Next week is E3, if Microsoft is going to announce something it will be then, but a new xbox soon, not very likely at all.

If you have those consoles already, why would you be interested in a xbox? Just out of curiosity, the exclusives?

I would like to know that, too. I'm more than happy with my PS3 although I would have liked an XBOX 360 to play Alan Wake.

Well, if you get an Xbox 360 too then you have one more system you can pirate with. Something worth to consider.

Yes, some of the exclusives, and to co-op a few games with one of my friends.

Even if a replacement were coming soon the Xbox 360 would still be better value.

I intend to continue getting the multiplatform releases for the 360.

The console itself is rather cheap, so may as well just get one, even if a new one was due in 6 months.
