Three Saffers through to the 200m semis. Anyone know if those semis are today?

Yeah think the issue is the heat and humidity, Hassan will just stay in the pack and has the best speed over the last lap so no one can catch her, very similar to Bekele from a few years back.
 
We have a sport climber as well. Wonder how he'll do today. Know nothing about the sport. Can't find the schedule on tv so i guess we won't see him. Starts at 10am
 
Crazy to think that the men's 400m hurdles record time which stood for almost 30 years has been broken/beaten 4 times in the last month.

He probably won't medal.

Yeah ridiculous time, Warholm's time was almost as quick as Wayde's semi time and the guy who finished 3rd almost broke the previous WR. You can roughly take 3 sec of the time for a 400m so that run might have threated Wayde's 400m WR.

I heard someone earlier this year say that there would be many records falling this year. They linked it to the pandemic and the decrease in anti-doping testing around the world.
 
SA's Cosser was up first in the speed climbing. Did his personal best climb.

Love speed climbing haha. Fun to watch
