So worst case, if MPEG4 was 1 GB per hour like MPEG2, we would be looking at about 300 MB for 21 minutes. Maybe then I should record the 3 segments separately to make the files more manageable?

Good idea to split it up, but just record it so long. You can split it up later if needed. :)
 
Just convert it into AVI for fuk's sake.

Glad it was delayed, only just found out about it. Should be good stuff!

It seems I will have to record in MPEG2. My dvd recorder does not allow burning files to dvd if they are in MPEG4 :confused:
The MPEG2 will take about 470 MB per hour according to the manual, so for 21 minutes about 170 MB.

Why convert to avi? Is it smaller? I don't have any tools for this, any suggestions?

But if there's anyone else who can capture directly onto pc, please do!
 
Jeez, what a bummer, it's all 'making of' gospel music crap.
 
The most unprofessional thing I have EVER seen. Firstly, it didn't start 7pm like it should and you keep on hearing over and over what's happening on the channel tomorrow, and to top it all, THERE'S NO SOUND!!! :mad:

The tonight show is on, but about other stuff. There is sound, but only on the left channel...
