:D the only fruits in that basket was the blackcurrant business berry. No mention of a golden delicious or granny smith or any type of apples.

Nokia FTW.

PLEASE GIVE US THIS TABULAR INFORMATION IN A TABLE, NOT A LONG WINDED VERBAL DESCRIPTION OF TABULAR DATA THAT I HAVE TO READ. THIS IS REALLY PAINFUL. JUST LIKE READING ALL UPPERCASE TEXT!

I just cannot believe that Nokia was rated top, I have come to realise that Nokia makes !@#$ phones. My N97, having it only for 3 weeks, has already been booked in for repairs. My N95 8G was repaired 4 times and my N81 has been replaced due to the previous one being declared UTR. Clearly Nokia is fooling the masses. Why was I not consulted on this survey....

I think you are a phone abuser. I have had many Nokia's for extended periods of time (more than 2 years) and they lived pretty rough lives. None of them ever broke.

You should perhaps opt for a Sonim or something extra tough.

So let's see, Nokia is repairing your current phone, repaired another phone for you 4 times, and replaced a 3rd one?

That sounds like decent customer service to me. Sure the phones might be buggy, or faulty (or it could be you - jinxed!), but do the other manufacturers offer as good a service? Probably not.

I also had an N95 (not 8GB) sent for repairs, and it came back looking like brand new, except for the battery. I think they gave me a new phone, the IMEI number was also different. I'd say they offer decent service.

But all that aside, my main point is that the survey asssed companies on 4 principles:
The Top Brands survey assessed companies (brands) on four principles: Brand familiarity, Brand presence and size, User brand rating & experience and Public perception/non-user rating

You are complaining about just one principle, viz User brand rating & experience.

HP as the best laptop brand!!?? I've destroyed so many HPs purely because I vomit when I see them infront of me. This reaction is mostly because of their after sales support.

But I suppose branding is not about the quality of the product, but the perceived quality!

HP is one of the few brands where you will find a fair amount of AMD powered laptops. They are therefore sacred and holy.

I am in no way doubting their after sales commitment. I am complaining about the fact that I am being inconvenienced. No doubt that they have an excellent method of promoting there products, better than their competitors and that what makes them so fly with the public. The crux is that the perception created vs the products sold.

Btw I have had other manufacturers, and by no means were they as problematic as Nokia devices. Yes I had issues with battery life, but overall performance was good.

I treat my phones better than my women!!!! Nokia just makes !@#$. Believe me before all this I defended and promoted Nokia. I am now the converted.

Based on the Top Brands survey you are one of the few people that fall far from the median of the statistics involved.

I also agree, the Nokia goes the long way, we can relay on it. I’m also using the Nokia.:)

It's the stupid digital planet company they outsourced for repairs.
